Hosea 13:2-4

² And now they sin more and more,
    and ^(A)make for themselves metal images,
idols skilfully made of their silver,
    ^(B)all of them the work of craftsmen.
It is said of them,
    “Those who offer human sacrifice ^(C)kiss calves!”
³ Therefore they shall be ^(D)like the morning mist
    or ^(E)like the dew that goes early away,
^(F)like the chaff that swirls from the threshing floor
    or ^(G)like smoke from a window.
⁴ But ^(H)I am the Lord your God
    from the land of Egypt;
^(I)you know no God but me,
    and ^(J)besides me there is no saviour.
